Complaint Against: Mr. Rajendra Kumar Sharma, age 50+ years, Address: Flat No. 1, Grd Floor, Anjali Apartment, 130/1 Bangur Avenue, Block-B, Kolkata-700055

Sub: Threat in the matter of Building Maintenance Charges Dispute

I wish to inform your goodness that this morning at about 9:30 AM, Mr. Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Building Secretary & my only neighbor on the ground floor of the building, knocked my door-bell and asked me regarding status of my payments of the Maintenance Charges of the Anjali Apartment.

I informed him that I have been regularly paying towards the said charges directly into the Anjali Apartment's bank account with the State Bank of India, since he refused to accept my cheque on 5^th April 2012. He then questioned this mode of payment.

I clarified that the Anjali Apartment management has not provided any statement of Income & Expenditure of the Anjali Apartment for last two years, and my all objections went unheard. Upon this he started shouting at highest level of his throat volume and warned me, in Hindi, “You have no right or authority to deposit the money in Bank and you will have to pay the DEMANDED money to me in full, otherwise it will be very bad for you….”

As he was at his full throttle with scorching eyes at me, I felt feared after few moments that he may physically assault me. So I left my flat entrance door open and went inside another room. Even then he continued his shouts uttering threats, etc. for few more minutes and left.

For your information he was accompanied by Mr. Arindam Mukherjee of Flat No. 5, Third Floor of the building but Mr. Arindam did neither uttered a single word nor requested Mr. Sharma to calm down.

In this context, I wish to inform you that I am a frail bodied 68 years old & weak person, and Mr. Sharma has double bSome Text has been masked intentionally by the autherodied robust personality. I am staying alone in this flat for over last two years. As I fear he may harm me physically, I wish to put on record this episode. However, I am ready to face any sort of lawful approach by anybody in the matter.
